JERTEH| Wednesday, 28 December 2022 : The Ammirul Ummah Foundation has channeled a flash donation collection to the affected victims in Kg. La, Jerteh.

Heavy rains that continued for more than a week starting on December 14 have severely affected many districts in Terengganu. As a result, many Temporary Evacuation Centres have had to be opened as the number of flood victims affected increases day by day.

On December 22, 2022, Yayasan Ammirul Ummah launched a flash donation fund for flood victims who were affected, especially in Terengganu.

In this regard, the Ammirul Ummah Foundation has delivered 15 Prayer Kits and 10 FoodBank baskets to flood victims. Among the items distributed were basic food such as sugar, vermicelli, soy sauce, water flavouring as well as prayer equipment sets such as telekung, prayer mat, adhesive cloth, face towel, prayer beads, Al-Quran and socks.

"We launched this quick donation fund in the hope of easing their burden through foodbank donations and so that they can worship comfortably", said Mr. Kamal who is the Director of the Ammirul Ummah Foundation.
