Yesterday, Sunday, January 20, Director of Rumah KAMMI Peduli (RKP NTB) Arifudin, S.Pd together with the General Manager of the Indonesian Muslim Student Action Union (KAMMI) NTB Region Andi Ardiansyah, S.Kom inaugurated the development of the Mosque as well as laying the first stone of the Nurul Jihad Mosque located in Bat Pawang Hamlet, Sesait Village, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency.
This event was followed by the Head of Dusun Bat Pawang along with dozens of other people who enthusiastically wanted to rebuild the place of worship that collapsed due to the 6.9 SR earthquake a few months ago.
In his speech, Village Head Bat Pawang expressed his deep gratitude to Rumah KAMMI Peduli for helping rebuild the Nurul Jihad mosque. "On behalf of all the people of Bat Pawang, I would like to say a big thank you to RKP NTB who wants to help rebuild the Bat Pawang Nurul Jihad Mosque," he said.
Arifudin stated that RKP will help rebuild the collapsed mosque with a new design that is unique and earthquake-friendly. "Rumah KAMMI Peduli Working together with Ammirul Ummah Foundation, Asian Federation Of Muslim Youth (AFMY) and International Muslim Bussines Network (IMBNet) as well as other donors will help rebuild the Nurul Jihad Masjid Dusun Bat Pawang with a unique earthquake-friendly design," he said.
The devastating earthquake that leveled buildings where people live as well as public facilities such as mosques and others still leaves a deep trauma for the people of Bat Pawang.
So that RKP is present by providing a mosque development program with an earthquake-friendly design that is comfortable to use for worship and to get closer to God.
Head of PW KAMMI NTB Andi Ardiansyah hopes that this Mosque will become the most comfortable place of worship and give birth to children who love the mosque. "I hope this mosque will be used as a center for comfortable religious activities and will be able to give birth to children who love mosques," he added. (A)
