
ERANTB.COM- LOMBOK, NTB — Iman Care and Yayasan Amirul Ummah held an opening ceremony for the distribution of 27,000 Al-Qurans that will be distributed throughout Lombok Island at Graha Bakti Praja Building NTB Tuesday, 02/02/2021.
This event was directly attended by the Governor of NTB, Dr. H. Zulkieflimansyah, MUI NTB, Polda NTB, as well as the Al-Quran distribution partners on Lombok Island.
We express our deepest gratitude for the Al-Quran support that Imam Care and the Amirul Ummah Foundation have given to the people of Lombok Island," said Dr. H. Zulkieflimansyah, Governor of NTB who is fondly called Dr. Zul.
Dr. Zul explained that Lombok Island is one of the tourism destinations with the most visitors from Malaysia. For that, good relations between Malaysia and Indonesia, especially Lombok, must continue to be well maintained.
He hopes that the Provincial Government together with the community in NTB can contribute to repay the good of the Malaysian community, especially Iman Care and Yayasan Amirul Ummah, so that we not only receive aid, but we also provide aid to the Malaysian community.
At the same time, when giving a speech, the focus of the current program is the Waqf Al-Quran program. We have distributed 10,000 Al-Qurans in Palu City, 3,000 in Gorontalo, 2,000 in West Java, and the most in Lombok 27,000 Al-Qurans," said Irfan Ahmad Fauzi, Director of Yayasan Amirul Ummah Indonesia.
"This Al-Quran is a trust from Iman Care, an NGO from Malaysia that entrusted it to Yayasan Amirul Ummah Indonesia to be distributed to 900 points spread out in boarding schools, Quran houses, mosques, mushollas that are in need of Al-Quran on Lombok Island," explained Fauzi.
This Al-Quran Waqf program will also focus on disaster-affected areas in South Kalimantan and West Sulawesi. For that, Irfan Ahmad Fauzi invites all the community to get involved in making the program a success..
Furthermore, the Governor of NTB was directly accompanied by Irfan Ahmad Fauzi, Director of the Indonesian Amirul Ummah Foundation, TGH. Muhsan Yunus, LC from MUI NTB, and Polda NTB officially launched the distribution of 27,000 Al-Qurans with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
