Kota Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia - In order to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan 2021, the Ammirul Ummah Foundation will distribute 5,000 Al-Qurans to West Papua. This Al Qur'an distribution program is a manifestation of Yayasan Ammirul Ummah's commitment in spreading Islam in the archipelago and helping in the fulfillment of the Al Qur'an in all corners of the country.<\/p>\n
The event was held at the Al Ikhlas Mosque in Sorong City, attended by representatives of the Ministry of Religion in Sorong City, Bapak Agung Sabela M.Ag, as well as Islamic organizations based in Sorong City such as the Sorong Branch Islamic Student Association (HMI), the Indonesian Islamic Youth (PII) in Sorong City, the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Union (IPNU). In addition, it was also attended by institutions that are partners in this Al Qur'an distribution program.<\/p>\n
In his speech, Agung Sabela expressed his appreciation for the implementation of this activity. "This program is a spectacular step taken by the Ammirul Ummah Foundation because it has been able to present 5,000 Al Qur'ans in West Papua, especially Sorong City." He said, Friday (16\/04\/2021).<\/p>\n
In line with Agung, Muhid Rumbalifar Head of HMI Sorong Branch stated that in Sorong there is still a great need for the Qur'an. "When I was informed that the Al Qur'an would be distributed in West Papua, of course I was very grateful. Because in West Papua, especially in Sorong, there are still many people who need the Al Qur'an.<\/p>\n
Furqon, as a representative from the Amirul Ummah Foundation said that this program is a form of commitment to ground the Al Qur'an in the archipelago. He also added that apart from Papua, the Ammirul Ummah Foundation has distributed 10,000 Al Qur'ans in Palu, 3,000 Al Qur'ans in Gorontalo, 27,000 Al Qur'ans in Lombok and 6,000 Al Qur'ans in Bali.<\/p>\n
This 5,000 Al Quran will cover several districts such as Sorong, Manokwari to Fakfak. And also to the islands around Sorong up to the Raja Ampat Islands. Spreading the Qur'an in the holy month of Ramadhan is certainly a golden moment to multiply worship activities.<\/p>\n
