SINCE its establishment on 22 April 2001 until now, Yayasan Ammirul Ummah (YAU), a non-governmental organisation (NGO), has been active both domestically and internationally.<\/p>

YAU, which operates in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu, runs charity programs around the world that have a major impact in various fields including humanitarian aid, economic development, health and well-being, employment, education and mosque development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The latest activity carried out by YAU is building the Miftahul Jannah Mosque in Batusuya Goo Village, Donggala Regency (district), Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.<\/p>

The construction of the mosque is the result of close collaboration between YAU and the Islamic Malayan Banking Employees Association (PKIMB) and the majority of donors are from Malaysia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

YAU Director Mohd Kamal Ismail @ Omar, although he did not have the opportunity to witness the inauguration of the mosque, was still happy that YAU's objective and vision to serve the community had been realized.<\/p>

"YAU's mission and vision is to serve the Muslim community without borders. "Apart from building the mosque with PKIMB, we also distributed the Quran to schools there that needed copies for their students' use.<\/p>

"Although YAU carries out programs and projects with limited budgets and resources, this has not weakened our spirit to continue to serve the community, whether domestically or internationally," he said.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Meanwhile, PKIMB Chairman, Johari Ismail, said that it is very important to have a spirit of Islamic brotherhood that transcends national boundaries.<\/p>

"We feel honored to be able to participate in the construction of this mosque. This collaboration is clear evidence of how Muslims in various countries can unite to help our brothers and sisters in need regardless of race or background," said Johari regarding the mosque which was inaugurated by the Governor of Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi), Rusdy Mastura on September 4.<\/p>

Meanwhile, the Head of YAU Indonesia, Rizki Mujahidin, greatly appreciated YAU's collaboration with PKIMB and was moved by the support provided by donors from Malaysia.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

"Those who donate and help this mosque are mostly people we don't know. However, they are sincere in helping by donating a little money for the development of this mosque."<\/p>

"This is a tangible form of international Islamic brotherhood that we hope will continue to exist without limits. Hopefully all donations channeled for the construction of this mosque will also have a positive impact on the donors," said Rizki.<\/p>

"This mosque is a symbol of brotherhood and a strong spirit of mutual cooperation, especially after the disaster. Hopefully the presence of this mosque will strengthen the faith and solidarity of the Donggala community."<\/p>

"I hope that the Miftahul Jannah Mosque can be used not only as a center of worship for Muslims but also to have a socio-economic impact on the community of Batusuya Goo Village.<\/p>

"The kindness of the Malaysian nation was not only shown this time, but when this region was hit by the earthquake disaster of September 28, 2018, there was a lot of help from the Malaysian government to help the people of Sulteng", he said, hoping that the relationship between the two nations would never be broken.<\/p>

One of the Miftahul Jannah Mosque worshippers, Fandi, expressed gratitude because the construction of the mosque made it easier for the local community to worship.<\/p>

"Alhamdulillah, so far the people have only had temporary mosques made of boards. Now, we finally have a decent and comfortable place of worship. Our dream of having a new and better mosque has finally come true," Fandi said cheerfully.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
